Guided by our Christian values of Love, Hope and Joy, we endeavour to motivate and inspire children to become lifelong, resilient, successful and enthusiastic learners. At Ashurst CE Primary School:
- Our curriculum is carefully planned and sequenced so that new knowledge and skills build on previous learning.
- We constantly strive to make learning inspirational and meaningful for all pupils.
- Our curriculum is made memorable by a range of visits and first-hand experiences, and made relevant by making links between subjects where appropriate.
- We broaden our pupils horizons by exploring concepts that encourage them to think about their place in the world and to develop their role as global citizens.
IMPLEMENTATION
Lessons are planned using our medium - and long-term plans which identify the National Curriculum area being studied in each subject.
